Open office spaces often lack privacy, have low acoustic ratings, and there is a need for spatial division to increase productivity. These spaces also tend to lack access to natural light and nature, which can lead to decreased wellbeing for individuals in the workspace. Grove is an acoustic panel system that provides privacy and absorbs distracting noises in the office to increase productivity for individuals. The tall panels with integrated lighting are inspired by the phenomenon Komorebi, which is the sensation one feels when observing light through trees. This can increase the wellbeing of individuals in an office scenario, along with the incorporation of natural materials and forms that Grove adds to an office space.

Ventilation in ski jackets has been dominated by pit zips in the snow jacket industry. Alta pushes the envelope to explore different methods of ventilation by utilizing high and low pressure zones on the skiers body for more efficient and accessible airflow. Ventilation zips on the upper arms allow for easier access and a less cumbersome interaction than pit zips.
Along with increased accessibility, the placement on the arms affords more air flow, due to placement near the high pressure zone on a skier. The open mesh vent on the back of the jacket is near the low pressure zone. This interaction between the two pressure zones increases air flow while the skier is moving on the mountain. The bottom flaps of the jacket open and pin to the sides as another option for increasing airflow. Pockets are high on the jacket to stay clear from the waist strap commonly found on touring backpacks. The pockets provide ample storage for essentials that need to be accessed quickly, like skins for skis.

Radial is a monitoring system for individuals suffering from ACL injuries. The system provides clarity on the recovery progress to ensure a quick recovery, eliminate extraneous injuries, and provide direct feedback on range of motion progression for the patient and the physical therapist. The system includes a knee sleeve with stitched textile sensors that connect with two data collecting pucks and an RGB video camera. This allows patients to accurately perform and record exercises at home to track progress for themselves and the physical therapist through an app and web interface.
