The Seattle Monorail was introduced to the city as one of the attractions for the 42nd World’s Fair hosted in 1962. Space age was the theme for that year’s fair and influenced the design of the Monorail, something that heavily inspired this redesign. The new Monorail brand focuses on connecting with the system’s rich history while remaining modern and relevant for today’s tourists and commuters.
