With a rise in outdoor recreation, there is a growing demographic of people who backpack to enjoy the outdoors and good company. This person is more concerned with having a good time than having the lightest kit. Although current backpacking stoves can provide a cooking surface with a small footprint, they lack in versatility to cook foods outside of freeze-dried and dried meals. The Summit Chef focuses on providing campers with the most versatile cooking experience while being lightweight and compact.
