R.A.D, short for Revolutionaries Amplifying Diversity, is a mock three-day conference that aims to destigmatize skate culture while connecting underrepresented groups to the sport. The brand language strays away from the stereotypical grunge aesthetic often associated with skate culture. Instead, the brand takes on a brighter, playful language that evoked positivity and youth. WhileVCD we leaned away from the usual gritty visuals, we took inspiration from graffiti and incorporated many DIY elements throughout the brand, nodding at the rich history behind the culture.
