As a twenty-something year old gay man, I find myself ultimately owing my coming-out experience to the Internet. I was curious if this was something shared across my generation in the LGBTQ+ community. I utilized the anonymous nature of Reddit to collect most of my digital artifacts, consisting of paired recorded experiences and screenshots. All of my findings are tagged by the timestamp I received them, a nod to the digital nature of this project. Thus, the foundation for “Intersections of Queerness and the Internet”.
