Injectem

Injectem is a syringe casing designed to assist during the weekly self-injection process of Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT). It houses the disposable single-use syringe and needle in an approachable magnetic casing, allowing for less intimidating interaction with the syringe. Injectem is composed of a body and plunger cover with a flexible needle guard that conceals the needle.

Injectem’s viewing window and plunger simultaneously give the user feedback while pulling up their hormones. The viewing window shows the syringe’s graduation markers while the plunger has the markers repeated in an easily understandable way. These are both designed to assure the user that they are pulling up the correct amount of hormones every time.
