Between Lines proposes ethically ambiguous futures to investigate our relationships with location-based recommendation systems, everyday surveillance, and the downward trajectory of personal agency through four speculative design films. The films were used in interviews with tech-industry professionals to understand where we are headed and, critically, how tech workers view their own agency. These findings and insights were then encapsulated into a bespoke publication and website.
