This temporary exhibition was designed by a team of design students for the nonprofit Partners In Print. The initiative started off as a class project last fall with 25 students in Kristine Matthews’ Exhibition Design course, in which the students worked in small teams to develop concept designs for PiP’s new home. In winter, ten students continued working together with Kristine to evolve some of the strongest ideas from the fall to turn them into a constructible installation. Sustainably designed using cardboard in various weights and finishes, the exhibit combines 2D, 3D, and screen-based components together with a social media campaign for @pipletterpress.
