Hotel 21st is a speakeasy-inspired boutique hotel in Capitol Hill, named after the 21st Amendment, which ended the prohibition of alcohol. With minimal signage and hidden entrances, guests must be "in the know" to discover our hotel. By drawing direct inspiration from design during the Prohibition era as well as distinctive Washington elements, we developed a complete brand and identity system, along with a publication exploring the history of Prohibition in Seattle.
